I was watching a documentary the other night about how nursing homes treat their patients and how much money they charge.
The documentary was showing how the managers of the homes were looking purely for profit and not looking to provide the best level of care to the patients and with some people paying up to £6000 per week to stay there I was completely shocked at the conditions they had to put up with.
After having a member in my family in nursing home it hit home and just goes to show its well worth making enquiries into the homes before putting family in them.
